Effective date: July 17, 2026
These Terms are the agreement between you and Meravor covering your use of our website, apps, and services (the "Service"). "Meravor", "we", "us", and "our" mean the company identified in section 17, Who we are, which operates the Service under the brand Meravor — Evergreen Continuity. By creating an account, ticking the consent box at sign-up, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
This summary is here to be helpful, not to replace what follows. The full Terms below are what actually govern.
Meravor helps you gather your family's important information in one private place, so that nothing is lost if the worst happens. That is genuinely useful, and it is also the limit of what we do.
You need to be the age of majority in your province or territory and able to enter a contract. Meravor is built for families in Canada and for Canadian legal, notarial, and financial professionals. Using it from elsewhere is up to you, including whether it's lawful where you are.
Everything you put into Meravor — the people, assets, documents, wishes, health notes, and the rest (your "Content") — remains yours. You give us permission to store, encrypt, process, display, and back it up, for one purpose only: running the Service for you and for the people you've chosen to share it with. You can export all of it, in a readable format, whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account and data as described in our Privacy Notice. In return, you're responsible for what you put in: that it's accurate, that it's lawful, and that you're entitled to record information about the other people in it.
Please don't use the Service to break the law or store unlawful material; don't upload malware, probe our security, or try to reach anyone else's data; don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload it; don't impersonate anyone or misrepresent your authority; and don't use it to build a competing service. We can suspend or close accounts that do these things.
If you sign up as a lawyer, notary, or advisor, some extra terms apply. Your licensing, your professional obligations, and your conduct are yours alone — we do not verify your licence and we make no claim about your credentials. Your relationship with your clients, and any duties you owe them, are between you and them. Your client decides what you can see and can change or withdraw that at any moment. If you sponsor a client family under your firm plan, the fees are yours regardless of whether that client uses the Service.
We build on other providers: Google Cloud hosts the Service and its database in Canada, Stripe handles payments, and Resend delivers our email. Using features that involve them may bring their terms into play, and we're not responsible for their acts or omissions. Our Privacy Notice sets out exactly what each one handles.
The Service itself — the software, the design, the words, and the Meravor and "Evergreen Continuity" names and marks — belongs to us or our licensors, and is protected by law. These Terms let you use the Service. They don't give you any other rights to it.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any checklist or content is accurate, complete, or current. Keep your own copies of anything that matters.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our directors, officers, and personnel aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from the Service. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service won't exceed the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or CAD $100. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including consumer-protection rights you may have.
You agree to cover us for claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) that arise from your Content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.
You can stop using Meravor and delete your account whenever you want. We can suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Service or the people on it. When access ends, so does your right to use the Service — so export anything you want to keep before then.
The Service will change, and these Terms may change with it. If a change is material, we'll give reasonable notice — posting updated Terms with a new effective date, or telling you in the Service. Carrying on using Meravor after a change takes effect means you accept it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the Alberta courts have jurisdiction. If your own province or territory gives you consumer-protection rights that apply regardless, you keep them.
